פרשת בשלח: לסמוך על הדרך
פרשת בשלח מתארת את יציאתו של עם ישראל ממצרים, את חציית ים סוף ואת הקשיים שחווה במדבר. לאחר שחרורם, הם החלו במהרה להתלונן על הרעב, ואלוהים סיפק להם את המן, מזון שהופיע בכל בוקר. הדבר לימד אותם לבטוח באלוהים ולהסתמך זה על זה ועל הקהילה, ולאסוף רק את הכמות הדרושה להם בכל יום.
ב-IC אנו עוברים חוויה דומה. בני נוער מכל העולם מתכנסים יחד, מתמודדים עם אתגרים והזדמנויות חדשים, ולעתים צועדים אל הבלתי נודע. כמו בני ישראל במדבר, עלינו לסמוך על התהליך, להישען זה על זה ולהסתמך על הקהילה שלנו. IC מספקת לנו את הכלים והקשרים הדרושים למסע שלנו — בדיוק כפי שהמן סיפק לבני ישראל את הדרוש להם כדי להמשיך קדימה.
בדיוק כפי שהעם היהודי למד לבטוח, לצמוח ולבנות קהילה חזקה יותר במדבר, כך גם אנחנו ב-IC למדנו לעשות זאת, תוך חיזוק מנהיגותנו וקשרינו עם הזולת.
